Students love to plant trees; we've seen it in all age groups from preschool all the way through college. Kids of all ages love to dig in the dirt, unpack the tree's root ball, fill their hole in with soil and water, spread the mulch around the tree, and stand back to look at what they've done. We guide this process, teaching students how deep to dig their hole, to look out for circling roots, and to find the root flare so they get it right, giving their tree the best chance at survival.

Planned CareWe also work with students, teachers, and administration to make sure that the trees are in a spot that works for everyone and that they will be well cared for. Some schools have students carry out buckets, others have school maintenance staff use a hose. We have seen many models work when the plan is in place.
